Solo vs TripIt
A list of your bookings, or the whole trip as an app.

Solo
$9.99 per trip, once
Free to build and preview. No subscription. Travel companions never pay.
TripIt
Free basic. TripIt Pro is $49 a year.
Flight alerts, seat and fare tracking, and documents are Pro features.

Where TripIt is the better choice
- You fly for work 20 times a year and want seat tracking, fare-drop alerts and loyalty point tracking in one place.
- You want every trip you ever took in one account with calendar sync.
- You need it to exist for another 20 years. TripIt is owned by SAP Concur and built for corporate travel.
Where Solo is the better choice
- You take one to three real trips a year and do not want a subscription for them.
- You want the trip to look like a trip: the Colosseum at the top, the day laid out, the tickets in hand, not a text list.
- You travel with family or friends and want everyone on the same app without accounts.
- You want flight alerts, offline access and an AI assistant included, not gated behind Pro.
